Gwinnett County Police Department has officially reported this morning that the Mattie's Call search for a disabled Lawrenceville man, 65-year-old Eddison Jerry Yartue, ended with Mr. Yartue found safe, and reunited with his family.

The Gwinnett County Police Department has issued a Mattie's Call for a disabled Lawrenceville man.
Eddison Jerry Yartue, 65, was last seen around 12:40 p.m. Saturday at a residence on Mercury Drive in Lawrenceville, and is believed to be moving on foot. That location is near Winder Highway and Cedars Road.
Yartue has a number of medical conditions for which he requires assistance, most notably dementia, Stage 5 kidney disease and seizures. He also suffers from memory loss, diabetes and hypertension.
Yartue, a Black male, weighs approximately 155 pounds and stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He is bald, with brown eyes.
Investigators believe he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and gray winter hat, along with red and blue striped sneakers, when he left home.
"Officers have walked throughout the neighborhood going door-to-door seeking any information on his whereabouts," said Gwinnett Police Cpl. Dustin Martin-Young. "Members of the K9 Unit along with GSP Aviation have aided in the search."
Police say that nearby residents are being encouraged to review any doorbell and flood light cameras for any sightings of Yartue.
