Dahlonega man facing numerous drug charges from arrest in Lumpkin County

A Dahlonega man is facing numerous charges following his recent arrest in Lumpkin County.

The GBI has charged 59-year old Tony Lamar Sullens of Dahlonega with charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule II, and Possession of a Controlled Substance - Schedule IV on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Sullens was arrested at his home in Dahlonega for a Probation Violation warrant. During a subsequent search of his property, law enforcement found and seized more than 600 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, over 80 suspected Hydrocodone pills, and over 110 suspected Alprazolam pills.

A release from the GBI's Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office adds that Sullens was booked into the Lumpkin County Detention Center. The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Community Supervision also participated in the investigation.
