Gwinnett County Police said Wednesday morning the victim in a fatal August shooting in Dacula was a Dawsonville man.
According to a press release from the agency, Kenneth Stockton, 42, of Dawsonville, was found dead with a gunshot wound at about 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 31 on Jona Trail in Dacula.
Detectives said it appeared Stockton and another male had a type of confrontation before the shooting occurred.
The agency said they were still actively investigating the case.
