Jeep ride fundraiser proceeds to benefit Hall County Sheriff's deputy

Support continues to pour in from community groups for the Hall County Sheriff's deputy who lost his family in a fatal highway crash in July in Habersham County.

The Mountain Top Jeepers are holding a fundraiser to benefit Deputy Neil Holtzclaw on Saturday, August 19.

Mountain Top Jeepers Vice President Brandy Olson says the "United We Ride" event will donate all proceeds from their Jeep ride between Camp Wahsega Road and the Camp Frank Merrill Army Base in Dahlonega to Deputy Holtzclaw. 

The deputy's wife and children were among five people killed on July 16 along Ga 365 in Habersham County

Below are the details of the event:
  • Event Date: Saturday, August 19
  • Registration Times: 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
  • Staging Location: Mountain Adventure Outfitters (601 Cleveland Hwy, Murrayvile, GA)
  • Ride Leave Time: 11:00 a.m.
  • Ride Route:  Will leave the stage location and head towards Camp Wahsega Road (near Camp Frank D. Merrill Army Base)
  • Registration Fee: $20.00 per Jeep (ALL Proceeds will be donated)
