A GoFundMe fundraiser was created in honor of Victor Vega, an East Hall High School teacher and coach, who was killed after a crash on May 6.
So far, the fundraiser has raised $865 with a goal of $10,000 to help the family in their time of mourning.
“The accident occurred near the high school where Victor was a beloved finance teacher, and a devoted baseball and softball coach,” the fundraiser reads.
Over 300 people he impacted joined his wife, son, family, childhood friends and neighbors at his celebration of life service.
