A Clarkesville man faces nine charges following a manhunt Friday afternoon in Habersham County.
According to Rob Moore, public information officer with the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, Damien Thomas Mauldin, 21, was charged with first-degree burglary, aggravated stalking, two counts of battery, two counts of terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage to property, obstruction and criminal trespass.
Mauldin was located in the restroom of a convenience store on Highway 115 by Georgia Department of Corrections canine officers at about 2:30 p.m. Friday after an hours-long search of the area.
Mauldin bonded out of jail on July 31 on an $11,100 bond after being arrested on July 28 for aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act.
Friday's incident started as a reported home invasion off Georgia Highway 17 near Victory Baptist Church at 10:18 a.m. and involved people who were known to each other.
Mauldin remained in the Habersham County Detention Center as of Tuesday morning.

Authorities said Damien Thomas Mauldin, 21, is charged with first-degree burglary, aggravated stalking, and second-degree criminal damage to property all charges are felonies.
Mauldin was located by Georgia Department of Corrections canine officers in the restroom of a convenience store on Highway 115 at around 2:30 p.m.
"This started as a reported home invasion off Georgia 17 near Victory Baptist Church about 10:18 am and involved individuals known to each other," Said Habersham County Sheriff's Public Information Officer Rob Moore. "Mauldin had bonded out of jail July 31 on an $11,100 Bond after being arrested July 28 for aggravated assault under the Family Violence."
Additionally, Mauldin is charged with two counts of battery, criminal trespassing and obstruction.

Authorities say a suspect is in custody after an hours-long manhunt near Clarkesville Friday afternoon.
Rob Moore with the Habersham County Sheriff's Office said the suspect was taken into custody some time shortly after 2:45 p.m. Authorities with multiple agencies had been searching the area of Georgia 17, Georgia 115 and the Habersham Mills Connector after an apparent incident near Victory Baptist Church.
Habersham County School System officials confirmed that Clarkesville Elementary School was placed under a soft lockdown while the search was underway, but students were released at normal time.
The suspect's name was not released and more details about the alleged incident have not been released.
