13 Hall County Schools to receive fresh fruits and vegetables grant

13 Hall County elementary schools will receive a United States Department of Agriculture Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Grant for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. 
 
According to the district, the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division chose the 13 schools to give their students more access to fruits and vegetables throughout the school day. 
 
The schools that will receive the grant are as follows: 
  • Chicopee Woods Elementary School
  • Flowery Branch Elementary School
  • Friendship Elementary School
  • Lanier Elementary School
  • Lyman Hall Elementary School
  • Martin Elementary School
  • McEver Elementary School
  • Myers Elementary School
  • Oakwood Elementary School
  • Riverbend Elementary School
  • Sugar Hill Elementary School
  • White Sulphur Elementary School
