Three arrested after burglary at Hall County construction site

By Access WDUN Staff

Three suspects were arrested Sunday afternoon in Hall County after deputies were dispatched to a call for a burglary at Treesort Apartments on Thompson Bridge and Price Roads.

A Hall County Sheriff's Office press release said the apartment complex is under construction and that the three men were using bolt cutters to enter locked storage units on the property.

Upon arrival, deputies found three men on the property and made the arrests without incident.

Sheriff's Public Information Officer B.J. Williams said it appears that the only item they were able to steal was a case of caulk.

The suspects were identified as Kenin Gabriel Duarte-Gutierrez, 41, Guillermo Ramirez-Cruz, 47, and Bayron Alexander Hernandez, 23, all of Norcross.

All three face felony charges of second-degree burglary and possession of tools for the commission of a crime, along with a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass.

Williams said the latest arrests follow recent thefts at construction sites in the county and across Northeast Georgia.

"These construction sites have actually become a place that thieves have been frequenting," Williams said.
