Gainesville Water Resources Department to release water quality report in June

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

The Gainesville Department of Water Resources is on schedule to release its 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report on June 1.

The report contains results of the City of Gainesville’s drinking water system tests for the 2022 calendar year.

A release from the City of Gainesville said that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency adopted new rules allowing water providers to distribute the annual reports electronically.

Customers received a bill insert with their May billing statement notifying them of the report's availability.

Should customers wish to have a paper copy of the report mailed to them they can make that request to the Water Resources department.
