GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview boys soccer team held on to beat Riverside 3-2 at home on Friday.
Liam Weidner led the Lions (4-4-1, 2-0 GIAA) with two goals, the first assisted by Mario Patino on a header over the goalkeeper, and the second assisted by Heath Booker.
Frisco Johnson had one goal on a shot from outside the top of the 18.
The Lions are 4-0-1 in the last 5 games.
