BUFORD, Ga. — The Buford Tennis teams closed out their regular season with dominating 5-0 wins over Mountain View on Tuesday at Buford City Park.
The boys (11-7, 5-1 Region 8-7A) dropped just 6 total games getting wins in singles from Myles Carbis, Luke Clark, and Jack Hall. The No. 1 doubles team of James Troutt and Brent Sherman won 6-0, 6-0 and the No. 2 team won by forfeit.
The Lady Wolves (10-8, 5-1 Region 8-7A) dropped just 5 games with Taylor Aycock, Berkley Clark, and Hannah Davidson getting singles wins. The No. 1 doubles team of Abigail Foretic and Anna Cate Smith won 6-2, 6-1 and the No. 2 team Ella Place and Delaney Richards won 6-0, 6-0.
Both teams next will play in the Region 8-7A tournament on April 11th (boys) and April 12th (girls).
