GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Riley Black continued dominating Region 8-4A play to lead the Chestatee girls to a 72-67 road win over East Forsyth on Friday.
The senior West Georgia commit poured in a game-high 39 points and pulled 21 rebounds to keep the seventh-ranked Lady War Eagles (7-1, 3-0 Region 8-4A North) tied atop the standings with Cherokee Bluff.
Chestatee led 18-10 after the first and 37-23 at the half. The Lady Broncos cut the lead to 49-40 at the end of the third quarter.
Caroline Bull contributed 10 points, and Payton Cable chipped in six and seven rebounds.
Addison Rouse led the Lady Broncos with 20 points.

The game was never in doubt as the Lady Wolves jumped out to a 61-18 halftime lead en route to the blowout win over Denmark at home on Friday.
E'mian Fields scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Lady Wolves. Ava Grace Watson and Lydia Ledford had 14 each, and Betty Nguyen added 10 points.
Katie Trink led the Lady Danes with seven points.
WHITE COUNTY 63,
GILMER 45
The Lady Warriors had four players in double figures in the win over Gilmer on Friday.
Emma Lightsey led White County with 18 points. Kylie Watkins added 13 points, Zoe Burkett had 11, and Aaliyah Anderson with 10.
White County jumped out to an 18-9 lead after the first quarter and led 31-21 at the half.
The Lady Warriors outscored Gilmer 32-24 in the second half to preserve the win.
NORTH HALL 62,
JOHNSON 19
Athena Vachtsevanos scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Lady Trojans (7-2, 2-1 Region 8-4A) past Johnson on the road Friday.
Zara Gosse added eight points and five rebounds. NH girls win 62-19 at Johnson.
