Applications sought for former Habersham County Courthouse building demolition

The deadline to bid on the contract for demolition of Habersham County's former courthouse is rapidly approaching.

The Purchasing and Finance Department in Habersham County will accept requests for proposals (RPF) with fees unitl Wednesday, Jaunary 10 for the demolition and removal of waste materials with the old courthouse building located at 555 Monroe Street in Clarkesville.  Applications are subject inclusions of proper company experience references and fees.

The former courthouse structure was built in 1963 in a modern design for the times.  It was closed and replaced in 2013 by the current courthouse structure on Llewellyn Street in Clarkseville.
