Gainesville, Commerce and Lumpkin County won region titles last week. Union County upset No. 10 Athens Academy to set up a region title game at Fellowship Christian on Thursday. As for the rest of the seedings across the area, those are still a bit cloudy.
However, you are guaranteed a clear picture after Friday night's action is finished.

As we head to Week 12, a handful of games on the slate could alter region standings in the area, making sure the week will have some exciting finishes and more drama. Jacobs Media will have three games on its airwaves and streaming live on AccessWDUN.com.
Lumpkin County at West Hall –. Lumpkin County won the program's first region championship with a win over Dawson County last week in Dawsonville. This week's battle against West Hall has no meaning for either team. However, West Hall could end its season on a high note with a massive upset over the Indians. East Forsyth at North Hall – This is the biggest game on the Friday slate. East Forsyth must win to get into the playoffs. North Hall has clinched a playoff berth. It just depends on the outcome of Friday night as to which seed the Trojans will be. Regardless, both teams will leave everything on the field to make the playoffs or for the better seed. Gainesville at Jackson County – Jackson County needs a lot of help to get into the playoffs. They could do so by beating Gainesville and hoping Habersham Central loses to Shiloh. They also could get in with a loss to Gainesville and a Habersham Central loss by three points or more to Shiloh. Either way, it's a long shot for the Panthers, and the main reason is they are playing a Gainesville team that is full steam ahead.
