No injuries were reported after firefighters from Hall and White counties battled a barn fire in North Hall Tuesday afternoon.
Hall County Fire Rescue was first called to the scene on Clark's Bridge Road around 4:10 p.m.
"Upon arrival, crews found the building to be 60 percent involved. Since the closest hydrant was about a mile away, Hall County Fire Rescue received help from White County Fire, utilizing their tanker," explained Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger. "All units shuttled in water until the fire was knocked down."
The severity of the fire resulted in the structure being declared a total loss.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
