A Toccoa man suffered suspected serious injuries when he was struck by a car while crossing Big A Road in Toccoa Tuesday afternoon.
44-year-old Joseph Fusco was attempting to cross the multi-lane highway at Collins Road just after 3:05 when the wreck happened, said Sgt. Luke E. Mize of Georgia State Patrol Post 7 Toccoa.
Mize said Fusco was not in a designated crossing area when he was struck by the front of the 2019 Ford Fusion.
The 85-year-old driver whose car hit Fusco was not hurt.
