The Flowery Branch City Council on Thursday voted to approve a lease agreement for a new Mexican restaurant downtown.
El Sabor Costeno Taqueria will occupy Suite 101 of the new mixed-use building at 5519 Main Street.
City documents state the restaurant has been interested in the site for many months.
The restaurant will rent the 1,259 square feet space over a five-year lease term. They will be allowed to renew for an additional five-year term.
The interior of the building was unfinished as of May, and the city will provide an allowance for tenant improvements.
The taqueria will be the first tenant to occupy the space.
