A dog suffered minor injuries in a Monday morning fire in South Hall County.
Christie Grice, public information officer with Hall County Fire Rescue, said crews responded at 7:15 a.m. to a shed fire in the 6200 block of Lollis Creek Road.
Crews found a storage building on fire. A nearby camper and vehicle suffered exterior damage from the heat and smoke.
The resident told crews his dog was trapped in a dog pen near the shed. Crews used additional fire hoses to protect the dog pen from the fire. They were able to quickly remove the dog, which suffered minor injuries. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The resident told crews he would stay with a nearby family member in the wake of the fire. The fire was extinguished and crews cleared the scene around 10:15 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
