Law enforcement in Gilmer County said the nephew of a man found dead on Friday has been charged with murder.
According to a Facebook post from the Gilmer County Sheriff's Office, another relative of Crate Hollis Weaver, 65, discovered him unresponsive in the yard of a home near Roy Road.
Officials said Weaver had "extensive visible injuries."
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations assisted Gilmer County Detectives at the scene.
Authorities have arrested and charged Joshua Robert Weaver, 39, with Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.
