Newsroom's Pet of the Month: meet Rambo!

Newsroom is back with another edition of Pet of the Month, and this month we want to introduce you to Rambo!

Rambo has lived at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia for ten months by no fault of his own. Despite his long stay at the shelter, he has not given up hope to find a family who loves him just as much as- if not more- than the shelter staff and volunteers.

Rambo would be a great pet to have as the warmer months approach, because he likes to spend time outside playing fetch. He is known in the shelter as one of the more active and energetic rescues. On the other hand, once he is done playing, he is comfortable spending time alone.

Rambo can be affectionate, as he loves being pet. He can also sit for treats and does well while being walked on a leash.

Shelter staff said Rambo would be a good fit in a home with older children or adults, because he likes to jump up and say, "Hello!"

Rambo is a three-year-old, male Terrier mix who weighs 44 pounds. Potential adopters can meet Rambo at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia Tuesday through Sunday during the hours of 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Rambo and the other rescues cannot wait to meet you!
