The Lakeview boys soccer team scored once and held on to beat Mt. Pisgah, 1-0, at home on Thursday.
The Lions scored on a free kick from Sam Perrott that found Luke Cooper on the back post to volley it in the back of the net. Lewis Coyle recorded the shutout in goal, his third of the year, with 18 saves.
The win lifts the Lions to the top of the Region 6-A Private standings.
