An Oakwood man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place inside a Forsyth County home last Thursday.
Christopher Acker, 37, was taken into custody on Monday, and now faces charges of Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Robbery with a Gun and Home Invasion 1st Degree Forced.
Acker is alleged to have entered a home on Browns Bridge Road at gunpoint and forcing the victims to open their safe, all while holding them at gunpoint.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Stacie Miller said injuries were reported in the incident.
Acker is now being held at the Forsyth County Jail without bond.

Deputies with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a home on Browns Bridge Road on Feb. 3, 2022.
The victims of the robbery told authorities the masked suspect entered their home and pointed a gun at them demanding they open their safe, according to a press release from the sheriff's office reads. The suspect left the home after gaining access to the safe.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Investigators believe the victims were targeted by the suspect who knew the contents of the home and the safe. Forsyth County Major Crimes Detectives have identified a possible suspect in the case.
“Violent crimes like this one are rare in Forsyth County and will not be tolerated. Our deputies and detectives work tirelessly to identify and apprehend offenders who commit them. This individual’s days of freedom are numbered no matter where he may run to,” Sheriff Ron Freeman said in a prepared statement.
