The Flowery Branch Police Department is investigating a series of property damage and gunfire incidents that led to charges against two individuals, Brian Greene, 51, and Thomas McEntire, 72, who both live at a home on Keepsake Lane.

FBPD officials said the investigation began on Jan. 8, 2024, when officers responded to a report of property damage at a residence on Keepsake Lane. “Upon investigation, it was discovered that a bullet had struck the window of the home,” according to a statement from the Flowery Branch Police Department. The origin of the bullet and the identity of the person responsible were initially unknown.

On Jan. 31, police were called to a second incident on Keepsake Lane, where a vehicle had been damaged by gunfire. Investigators could not establish probable cause to arrest at the time.

On Dec. 10 four additional homes were damaged by gunfire in the same area. Police traced the source of the gunfire to the home shared by Greene and McEntire. “This development provided critical evidence, leading to the execution of a search warrant at the residence on Dec. 12, 2024,” the police department stated.

During the search, authorities gathered numerous pieces of evidence, which allowed them to charge both suspects with multiple offenses, including keeping or maintaining a disorderly house, discharge of a firearm on or near a public roadway and reckless conduct.

At the time of the search, McEntire was present at the home and was arrested. However, Greene was not at the residence and remains at large. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming as the case progresses.

Police officials are urging anyone with additional information to contact Flowery Branch Police Investigators at (770) 967-6336.
