An Oakwood man was recently arrested on aggravated assault and child cruelty charges stemming from an April runaway incident.
The Oakwood Police Department said the runaway juvenile accused Tyrelle Cook-Greene, 25 of being verbally and physically abusive to her over a long period.
The juvenile ran away from home on Apr. 28 after an ongoing family violence incident that began around Apr. 27. The juvenile told police she ran away for her own safety.
She was safely recovered and the investigation was initiated.
Cook-Greene was booked on charges of Theft by Taking over $1500, aggravated assault, battery family violence act, 1st Degree Child Cruelty and Robbery.
He is being held in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
