One person was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition after a single-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon on GA 400 in Forsyth County.
According to a press release from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the Cumming Police Department and the Forsyth County Fire Department responded at about 5:15 p.m. to the wreck on GA 400 northbound near Bald Ridge Marina Road.
A Toyota Tundra was traveling north on the roadway and attempting to negotiate a curve in the road at an unreasonable speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it struck the center guard rail and began to overturn.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected during the accident.
The driver was taken to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. Their name has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Traffic Specialist Unit.
