Since Christmas Eve, Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services have responded to nearly 1,200 incidents.
Three house fires, all ruled accidental in nature, have displaced Gwinnett County residents since Sunday.
No injuries were reported after firefighters responded to a reported house fire in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Run at 1:40 a.m. on Monday morning in Lawrenceville.
The fire was contained after 20 minutes, however, it heavily damaged the second floor above the garage causing the family to be displaced.
Two adults were treated for minor injuries after firefighters responded shortly before 9:00 a.m. Monday morning to a reported house fire in the 3000 block of Grove View Court in Dacula.
The fire was put out after approximately 25 minutes though it heavily damaged the garage and attic on the right side of the house.
American Red Cross is assisting two families in Dacula that have been displaced.
At approximately 3:28 p.m. on Monday afternoon firefighters responded to a reported house fire in the 2700 block of Carleton Gold Road in Dacula.
The fire heavily damaged the second floor and attic but was brought under control in 30 minutes.
A neighboring home also sustained minor radiant heat damage to the vinyl siding.
