A nine year old girl is in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle at a low speed Sunday night in Gainesville.
The incident occurred on Bradford Street at around 6:00 p.m.
Gainesville Police Lt. Kevin Holbrook said it is believed that the girl ran out into the road as the vehicle was driving by.
No charges are expected.
The accident did not occur on the parade route during Christmas on Green Street.
