Gillsville mobile home fire displaces two residents

A fire at a single-wide mobile home in Gillsville Thursday night resulted in no injuries to the occupants or responding personnel.

The fully-involved fire, reported about 10:20 p.m. in the 4600 block of Three Bridges Road, displaced two residents, said Hall County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Kimberlie Ledsinger.

Flames coming from inside the home were visible when firefighters arrived, spreading quickly to the left side, Ledsinger said. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames from both inside and outside the home.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.

The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents with immediate needs.
