A Gainesville woman was arrested early Monday, charged with assaulting a man Sunday night during a domestic dispute.
Cristal Hernandez, 28, remained at the Hall County Jail with no bond early Monday, charged with aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act.
The incident occurred on Butterworth Lane in the East Hall area where, according to the sheriff’s office, Henandez got into a dispute with her former boyfriend in the garage of the home.
The man, whose name has not been released, suffered serious injuries to his arm and was received treatment at the hospital, the sheriff’s office reports.
The case remains under investigation.
