A female inmate at the Hall County Jail died in her cell Saturday night, according to a news release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
Judy Taylor, 58, of Florida was found unresponsive in her cell shortly after 8 p.m., the release said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office has asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist with the investigation into the inmate's death.
Taylor's body was sent to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsy.
