A domestic dispute in Auburn ended with one man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and three female victims suffering from gunshot wounds of unknown severity.
City of Auburn police officers were dispatched to an apparent domestic dispute, with Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Marc Pharr saying the initial call came in Saturday at approximately 11:52 a.m.
"While officers were en route, the call was upgraded to possible shots fired at the residence," Sgt. Pharr said. "When officers arrived on scene they located a deceased male with what appeared to be a self inflicted gun shot wound."
The man's name has not been released.
The three female victims, whose names are also being withheld pending notification of next of kin, were also suffering from gunshot wounds.
"Two of the female victims were juveniles. All three female victims were transported to local hospitals," Pharr said. "The status of the female victims are unknown at this time."
Details regarding the nature of the domestic dispute, and the events that led to the shootings, are unknown at this time. The incident is currently under investigation.
