Two people are now known to have died in a quadruple shooting at a Gwinnett County apartment complex last week.
Gwinnett County Police announced Wednesday morning that Edgar J. Cruz Fuentes, 24, of Buford, was found deceased at the scene and Deniss Becerra, 27, of Buford, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Another victim, Ronald R. Cruz-Fuentes, 20, of Buford, remains in the hospital in critical condition, and Lillian Kayarath, 20, of Lawrenceville was treated and released from the hospital, according to the police update.
Police said they are not sure at this time of a motive for the murder and urge witnesses to come forward to the police at 770-513-5300, or to Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
The shooting occurred May 12 at Preston Hills at Mill Creek Apartments in Buford, shortly before 2:30 a.m. At that time, one male victim was found deceased in the kitchen and three other victims were taken to the local hospital.
