Buford Corn Maze to hold May Fair

The Buford Corn Maze announced that it is expanding its season to month of May.

The first-ever “May Fair” is scheduled for all five Fridays and weekends in May, beginning on April 30 and running through Memorial Day.

Although corn is out of season, there will still be all of the classic fair activities, like baby farm animals, a circus carousel and magic acts.

“The corn maze has been so popular in the fall with children and families that we wanted to expand to other times of the year,” said President Rodney Miller. “With the pandemic winding down, we felt the timing this spring would be especially welcome to get outside and celebrate by having fun at our new May Fair event.”

Other activities include games, hayrides, pony rides, duck races, a “cow train,” a slide and antique displays.

Tickets will be $14 per person and include all activities except for the pony rides, which will be an additional $5.

May Fair hours will be from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Memorial Day hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Buford Corn Maze is located off Friendship Road in Buford.
