District 2 Public Health to offer vaccine clinic at Lanier Technical College

District 2 Public Health and Forsyth County are partnering to offer COVID-19 vaccines to residents next Tuesday through Thursday at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College.

Anyone who wants to get a vaccine can either make an appointment or just show up, according to a release frm . Vaccines will be administered during the following hours:

Tuesday, May 4:  11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, May 5:  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday, May 6:  9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Eligible residents can make an appointment online or by calling 1-888-426-5073.

The vaccination event is possible because of a FEMA grant, which also allows Forsyth County’s Public Transportation Department to give people a ride to and from the vaccination site free of charge. To schedule transportation, call 770-781-2195.
