Girls soccer: No. 2 Bears blow past Gilmer, 5-2

FLOWERY BRANCH — Kaitlin Cook scored four goals to lead the No. 2 Cherokee Bluff girls past Gilmer, 5-2, on Wednesday at home. 

Amelia Dovie also added one goal and an assist, while Eva Martin dished out two assists. Alyssa Stringer and Anna Gessner added one assist each. 

Cherokee Bluff (8-2-1, 4-0 Region 7-3A) will travel to Lumpkin County on Friday.
