ATHENS — The Johnson girls and boys tennis teams were swept by Clarke Central on the road Tuesday.
In girl's action, Zoey Blankenship picked up the Lady Knights' only win, beating Eliot Daniel, 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 2 singles match. Johnson's No. 1 single Olivia Carpenter lost in a tiebreaker to Emily Gaskill, after winning the first set, 6-4, but falling in the second 6-2. Gaskill won in the tiebreaker, 10-7.
On the boy's side, the Gladiators won all five matches to shutout the Knights.
