A Gainesville man was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 23 and charged with four counts of electronic exploitation of a minor.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said 26-year-old Hyeonuk Kim possessed and distributed at least two videos of child pornography on his computer in December 2020.
Before Kim was arrested, investigators executed a search warrant at his home in the 700 block of Washington St. NW. and seized several of his electronic devices. Kim may face additional charges following forensic processing of the electronics.
There is no evidence that the minors involved in the videos are local or that the videos were produced locally, according to Derreck Booth with the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
Kim remained in the Hall County Jail at last report.
