Late rally sends Central Christian past LCA

GAINESVILLE  — Lanier Christian could not hold a 12-point lead as Central Christian out of Sharpsburg stormed back to take a 36-32 win over the Lightning Friday in a GAPPS 8-man game at Cabbell Field.

LCA led 32-20 heading into the fourth quarter after leading 24-21 at halftime. The two teams were tied at 12 after the opening quarter.

Lightning senior quarterback Andrew Perry rushed for 241 yards and 4 TDs and added another 50 yards passing.

Senior Isaiah Williams contributed with a rushing touchdown and 8 tackles on defense.
