Despite the weather delays, several area athletes turned in solid Week 1 performances.
East Hall quarterback Jamarcus Harrison earns Top-Performer for Week 1, compiling 353 total yards of offense and five touchdowns to lead East Hall to a 42-21 win over Banks County in Homer last Friday. Defensively, although Jefferson's Max Brown didn't record the most tackles, he had the overall best defensive performance with 16 tackles and seven tackles for a loss. East Forsyth's Kellen Moran led the area with 22 total tackles.
