Jackson County convenience store robbed

A convenience store in Jackson County was robbed in the middle of the night earlier this week. According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, around 4 a.m. on Tuesday someone broke into the Fast Phil’s Convenience Store on Hwy. 129 and took all of the cash out of the safe, along with $750 of electronic cigarettes.

The suspect, a white male, was driving a vehicle believed to be a Toyota Corolla. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jackson County Tip Line at 706-367-3784 or investigator Joey Chastain at 706-387-6042.
