Gwinnett County authorities have arrested one suspect, but are still looking for another after a string of ATM robberies that totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen.
A release from the Gwinnett County Police Department Tuesday said the first robbery happened at a machine on Jimmy Carter Boulevard near Norcross on September 9. Officers reportedly learned that two men had robbed the machine's technician as he was making repairs.
Four days later, a similar robbery was reported on Hampton Green in Duluth, and then on September 22, another similar crime was reported at a bank in Forsyth County.
Investigators suspected that the same two suspects were committing the crimes, and using data from social media and Flock cameras, they issued warrants for the arrest of Danzil Earl, age 30 of Atlanta, and Ronnie Lewis, age 31 of Texas.
Earl was arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on November 27, however Lewis has still not been found.
Anyone with information on Lewis' location is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives by calling 770-513-5300 or by submitting a tip to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
