Gwinnett Police arrest suspect on numerous entering car allegations

By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

For the past several months, Gwinnett County's General Crimes Unit has been investigating a series of entering autos in the Duluth area.

Their department has recently arrested a man in connection with more than 40 of these cases.

Gwinnett Police social media posts indicate that 26-year-old Marquis Rashawn Gray of Riverdale was taken into custody on November 17 behind a series of entering auto charges from cases in unincorporated Duluth.

Gray now faces one count of Robbery, one count of Theft by Taking and 41 charges of Unlawful Entering Motor Vehicle in unincorporated Gwinnett county, following a lengthy investigation through several metro Atlanta agencies.

Authorities are now looking into any possible connection Gray may have with other such entering auto cases in jurisdictions throughout metro Atlanta.
