The east side of Russell Street in Suwanee has been closed to traffic until Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
GDOT construction partners will be installing a sewer line on the street just off Buford Highway (SR 13).
Once complete, the project will provide bicycle and pedestrian accommodations on Buford Hwy from McGinnis Ferry Road to George Pierce Park in Gwinnett County. Work began on the project in January 2018 and has a scheduled completion date in Fall 2022.
