A Suwanee man was killed Friday evening when his motorcycle was hit by a passenger vehicle on a road in Lawrenceville.
Gwinnett County Police Department investigators said the deadly wreck happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Collins Hill Road and Russell.
They believe the driver of a Honda Accord tried to make a left turn in front of Robert Boren's motorcycle; the passenger vehicle hit the motorcycle and Boren was ejected. Boren, 49, was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The driver and passenger inside the Honda were not injured.
The investigation remains active, according to police, and at this point no charges have been filed.
