Two Gainesville residents were arrested, more than $80,000 drugs were seized and multiple firearms were confiscated Monday by officers with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.

Joshua Rairigh Shultz, 38, and Jamie Shultz, both of Gainesville, were arrested after officers, armed with a search warrant, searched their house in the 3000 block of Red Bird Circle.

Seized during the raid were over 18 pounds of marijuana, hashish, more than 28 grams of THC/oil extract, psilocybin mushrooms, two grams of cocaine and more than 172 narcotic pills including oxycodone, hydrocodone, alprazolam, and MDMA and multiple bags of THC Infused Candy. Street value of the drugs was “well in excess of $80,000,” according to a news release from the MANS unit. More than $10,000 in alleged drug proceeds were seized.

Agents also confiscated more than 30 firearms, a bulletproof vest and a large amount of ammunition. The serial number had been ground off one of the firearms, the release said.

A money-counting machine, digital scales, packaging materials, ledgers and other drug paraphernalia were also seized.

The suspects were booked into the Hall County Jail. No further arrests are anticipated in this case.
