By AccessWDUN staff

Three people were arrested and thousands of dollars were seized last week in a gambling sting carried out last week by the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.

MANS agents went undercover into four businesses to gather information for search warrants and arrests warrants, according to a release from Lt. Don Scalia.

During the raids, agents seized 20 video gambling machines, gambling receipts and more than $27,000 in gambling proceeds.

Agents arrested Jung Yop Choo of Café Amigo at 1500 Browns Bridge Road, Jose Ulloa-Gonzalez of  Mercado El Sol at 1870 Atlanta Highway and Navshadalia Momin of Little Giant Grocery at 1924 Atlanta Highway. Additionally, Coin Laundry Lavanderia at 1815 Atlanta Highway was raided, and Scalia said arrests are likely in that case pending further investigation.

The suspects were booked into the Hall County Jail on charges including commercial gambling and keeping a place of gambling.
