OAKWOOD — Lanier Christian Academy beat New Creation Christian Academy 39-22 in the GAPPS 8-Man Football Division II semifinal on Friday night at Billy Ellis Memorial Stadium.
After making the GAPPS State Playoffs for three consecutive years, the Lightning finally notched its first postseason victory in it’s first-ever home playoff game.
With the win, the Lightning will advance to its first-ever GAPPS Division II State Championship Game against Pinecrest Academy next Friday night in Cumming.
