By accessWDUN Staff

The Latinos Conservative Organization collected more than 65 bags of trash from Atlanta Hwy during a community clean-up Saturday morning.

The organization was joined by roughly 70 volunteers, including Hall County Commissioner Jeff Stowe, who serves as the commissioner for district four.

"We had such a great, diverse crowd of volunteers that came out to give back to our city," LCO President Art Gallegos said in a release Monday morning.

The 70-person group met at La Flor De Jalisco Market on Atlanta Hwy and picked-up trash for three hours.

The event was led by Gallegos and LCO's Vice President Semuel Maysonet as part of the Keep Hall Beautiful initiative.

KHB is a non-profit organization that serves as the local certified affiliate of the national Keep America Beautiful System and Keep Georgia Beautiful.
