Allison leads Panthers past Monticello

BLAIRSVILLE - Union County big played Monticello to stroll to a 53-21 win in the Region 8-2A opener Friday night at Mike Colwell Memorial Stadium. 

Union County (4-0, 1-0) scored on plays of 40 yards or more four times to rout the Canes. 

Pierson Allison finished the night with four touchdowns through the air and one more on the ground. 

Jonah Daniel scored two rushing touchdowns and caught one. 

The Panthers travel to Putnam County on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
