Woman shot, killed at Duluth apartment complex

An woman was shot and killed at a Duluth apartment complex late Sunday night and Gwinnett County police are treating the case as a homicide.
 
The department issued a press statement Monday, Sept. 2, saying officers had been called to the Amber Trail Apartments in unincorporated Duluth just before 11 p.m. When they arrived, officers found the body of 53-year old Kim Bessellieu in the 1900 building of the complex.
 
In addition, 48-year old Kevin Hudson, who had apparently tried to confront the suspects was found injured in the parking lot of the building where the crime occurred. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
 
Witnesses told police the suspects were two black men who were wearing all-black clothing and masks over their faces.
 
At this time, no arrests have been made.
